History and Evolution of SERENIA

Developed since 2020 by the AtlanTTic Research Center, and evolved in this new stage as a spin-off company involving the University of Vigo, SERENIA SOLUTIONS aims to make its application the benchmark for Artificial Intelligence in helping the senior community, offering companionship and entertainment, and thereby helping to mitigate unwanted loneliness.

Furthermore, conversations and interactions with users are monitored by the AI for possible signs of cognitive or emotional health issues—using our own patented technology—thus providing a valuable prevention and healthcare service.

To achieve this, the SERENIA team brings together specialists in software development and AI with professionals from the psycho-gerontological and neuropsychological fields working together in search of the greatest and best social impact.
